This years awards banquet is shaping up to be an outstanding event thanks to the great participation and award nominations we received this year. I hope everyone will come out to this event and support their patrollers and patrols!

We had quite a few award nominations this year which made judging this years awards much tougher and closer than previous years.

In the March regional meeting, it was decided that award nominees would be announced before the banquet. Nominated for awards were Forrest Worthy, Scott Hoffman, Robert Neimeyer, Doug Hill, Mike St.Clair, David Wood, Barbara Baxter, Stanley Arai, Larry Cody, Deborah Huffman, Angie Levey, Richard Roth, Bob Rathfelder, Mark Brown, Bruce Neilsen, Chuck Miller, Ed Mikolajczyk, Jon Onaga, Henry Theis, Steve Marion, Diane Haworth, Janine Wells, Samantha Teofilo, Jason Clays, Brett Markos, Ruthie McNulty and Evan Cassaday.

Hills nominated were Snow Valley, Snow Crest, Big Bear Mountain, Big Bear Valley and So. Cal Nordics.

As you can see by the number of names, we had a lot of entries to review and judge. They were all very close and I think you will all be surprised by who is named as winners of this years honors. But you won’t get to see first hand unless you are at the banquet. Come and cheer your patrol on!
