If you or any friends and family are interested in joining the volunteer ski patrol or the paid staff of any SoCal mountain, this is your first step!
Our spring OEC course is set to begin March 9th. We are continuing to offer this course as a hybrid class to appeal to even the busiest individual who already has a full schedule. Our class will MEET ONLINE EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT from 7:00PM-9:00PM and IN-PERSON MEETINGS (LOCATION TBD) ON ALTERNATING SATURDAYS from 8:00AM-3:00PM for 14 WEEEKS. We have two parallel OEC courses available. The standard full OEC course, as well as a challenge course - see below for details. You must create an NSP account before signing up for either course.
FULL OEC course - no prior medical experience required - 14 weeks (3/9-6/11) - course #F050220004
CHALLENGE OEC course - medical experience at EMT or above required, must be current - 2 weeks at end of the full course (6/4-6/11) - course #F050220005
Richard Choi will serve as Instructors of Record (IOR) for both courses
