The region is comprised of twelve patrols, serving alpine and nordic resorts throughout Southern California and Nevada.
Alta Sierra RESORT
The Alta Sierra Ski Resort is located approximately one hour from Bakersfield, California, in the Southern most tip of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Alta Sierra Resort is looking for qualified ski patrol candidates.

Big Bear Resorts
Located in the Big Bear area, Big Bear Ski Patrol serves Bear Mountain and Snow Summit resorts. We are a nonprofit association comprised of volunteers who provide first response medical care for the skiing/snowboarding public at Big Bear Mountain Resorts.

Buckhorn ski club
Located above La Canada, Buckhorn Ski Patrol operates and maintains the last remaining club-owned, self-operated ski facility in California. Buckhorn Ski Club offers downhill, backcountry skiing and snowboarding, over 40 acres, served by an 800 sq ft lodge.

June Mountain is located in the Sierras, just north of Mammoth Mountain. Our job is to create a safe environment and enable our guests to enjoy a fun and pleasurable mountain experience. Our primary function is to provide basic life support, winter rescue, avalanche prevention and safety, and on-slope transportation for the guests of June Mountain.

Mammoth Basin nordic
The Mammoth Basin Nordic Backcountry Patrol provides a safe, quality experience to the wintering public in and around Mammoth Lakes California. Our Patrollers are able to provide on-the-spot medical skills to those injured, lost or suffering from the winter environment. Nordic members are also available for search & rescue missions, as needed, in partnership with other agencies.

Mt Pinos Nordic

Mount Pinos Nordic Ski Patrol, is a volunteer organization working in partnership with the United States Forest Service. We are located on Mount Pinos in the Los Padres Forest near Frazier Park, California. Named the National Outstanding Nordic Ski Patrol by the National Ski Patrol System for 1993, 1996, 1999, 2006, 2011 and again in 2017.

Snow valley RESORT
The Snow Valley Mountain Patrol and Snow Valley Mountain Hosts are a group of about 90 highly trained volunteers dedicated to skier and snowboarder safety, education and enjoyment. We train in first aid, mountain travel and rescue, avalanche response, toboggan handling, customer services and more.
